Chattanooga Pride Festival 2022

Our Chattanooga Pride Festival 2022 was met with some challenges. Due to the pandemic, the festival had not been held for a few years. During that time, some of the planning processes had changed. We also saw an increase in expenses associated with putting on a festival. The cost of the stage alone was $6,000. In addition to that, a couple of weeks before the festival, our board members and our community were targeted by hate groups. Our focus went from standard planning to a focus on safety/security. Due to careful planning, we did not have a single reported incident. Protestors were quickly removed and relocated.  

 

Despite these challenges, the 2022 festival was the most attended in the history of Chattanooga Pride! We had 70+ vendors, 30+ sponsors, and approximately 3,000 attendees!

 

We can't wait for The Chattanooga Pride Festival 2023!
